This place seriously stands out. It's not just another Italian spot, the second you walk in, it feels like you got dropped into a tiny village in Italy. Like, they really committed to the whole vibe. The space is warm and cozy with rustic brick walls, hanging vines, and soft lighting that makes it feel both romantic and relaxed. It’s the kind of place where you want to take your time, sip some wine, and just enjoy the atmosphere. I ordered the Agnolotti, these little half-moon pasta pockets stuffed with cheese and spinach, swimming in a tomato-basil sauce, and wow. First bite and I was like, okay, they know what they’re doing. The pasta was cooked perfectly, not mushy, not chewy, just right and the filling was so creamy and flavorful. You could taste the spinach without it being bitter, and the cheese was smooth and rich, not heavy. That sauce, it tied it all together, super fresh with a nice hit of basil that made everything pop. Service was super chill, not overly formal but still attentive. No long wait either, we were seated right away on a Saturday evening which felt like a win. Definitely coming back to try more dishes. This place has soul.

great atmosphere, beautiful decor and lighting. our waiter was great. the wait for food wasn't very long, and the food itself was actually very good. i got agnolotti and it tasted amazing. it was crowded and definitely a hot spot for tourists but the lighting and atmosphere allowed it to still feel private and comfortable. would absolutely come here again. !!

Exactly the way I want to be served Italian food. The calamari was appropriately, prepared, seasoned, and great on its own or with lemon. The Linguini Frutti Di Mare was spot on. The Spicy Meat Ravioli was rich and spiced as promised and if you like spicy Italian, get this. We added a meatball and it was perfection. The lasagna was classic red sauced goodness.

The food was delicious. It looked so good I was not patient enough to get a picture. Our waiter was just fabulous. I’m not able to remember his name unfortunately. Definitely visit this place if you are in Chicago and craving some authentic Italian food.

I make it a point to try the Calamari everywhere I go, in a personal quest to find the best Calamari dish out there. The (fried) Calamari here is now at the top of my list! It is perfectly seasoned, lightly fried with a nice crunch. I wasn't crazy about the sauce they paired with it, but the Calamari itself was perfect! For the entrees, the sauce they use is authentic...I found it more in line with Southern Italy style sauce...on the thinner side as opposed to a thicker (better) sauce found more in central and northern Italy...but that's just preference. Atmosphere was great...this was a really nice place to visit while here in Chicago.
